Pleasant View is by far the least used FrontRunner Station. Just two round-trips during each rush hour make their way north to this station, slowing down tremendously because the train line north of Ogden runs on Union Pacific Trackage. This is why it has such limited service. The station is on its own siding and has a single track on an island platform that has provisions of a second track (there's even a tacticle warning strip preventing people from stepping down into a bed of pebbles). There's the standard parking lot and small shelters along the platform.
6 September, 2011: Service to Pleasant View has been fully discontinued and the funding used to run the three daily trips up there have been replaced by express buses running more frequently serving for more riders for the same subsidy.
Looking out at the simple platform.
