Bingham Junction is the first stop on the Red Line's Mid-Jordan extension which opened on April 7, 2011. The station (like the entire extension) is on a private ROW. The island platform is just east of the grade crossing of Brigham Junction Blvd with a new transit oriented development being built right across the street. Legal access to the single island platform is only by crossing the southern northbound track at a pedestrian crossing at either end and going via the station's parking lot. with two red canopies with brick arches, two strange plastic bullet-looking balls on stands for artwork.
