Planetarium is the first stop on the central hub extension that opened on April 27, 2008. It is the typical downtown Salt Lake City TRAX station with two canopies and an island platform located in the median of 4th W (S 400 W), with entrances to the platforms via cross-walks at both ends of the station. The northern one is at the intersection of W 100 S and the other is mid-block.
